Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that is derived from the pit of bitter almonds. Due to its larger molecular size, Mandelic Acid penetrates the skin at a slower rate, making it one of the gentlest AHAs and an ideal choice for individuals with sensitive skin, as it is less likely to irritate compared to other AHAs.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

To use the serum, start by cleansing your face with the De Rien Mandelic Acid 2% Face Wash, then pat dry and apply 2-4 drops of the serum to your face or affected areas at night time, gently massage it with your fingertips. Follow up with a suitable moisturizer and be sure to use sunscreen during the day while using this product.

CAUTIONS:

AHAs may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen e.g. De Rien Sunscreen Cream SPF 60, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product.

We don’t recommend applying the product on compromised, sensitive, or broken skin. Make sure to avoid contact with eyes. Perform a patch test if you have sensitive skin.
