What is Beauwell Retinol Serum?
It is a night serum with Retinol and Vitamin E that renews skin, fades dark spots, and smooths fine lines over time.
How often should I apply it?
Ease in with the serum two or three nights weekly then go nightly once your skin is ready.
What is the retinol percentage here?
We keep it balanced for beginners rather than chasing a big number on the label.
Can I use it daily?
Sure, once your skin is used to it. Rushing in too fast usually backfires.
Why is my skin peeling a little?
That is normal at first. Your skin is adjusting, and it settles down within a few weeks.
Is this safe for sensitive skin?
Patch test it first. Start slow, twice a week, and watch how your skin reacts. Check our guide on skincare tips for sensitive skin for more advice.
Can I use this while pregnant?
Best to skip retinol during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Check with your doctor first.
Do I need moisturizer after this?
Yes definitely. Try the Dermico Ultra Face Moisturizing Lotion to lock in moisture and keep dryness from creeping in.
Is sunscreen necessary the next day?
Absolutely. Retinol makes skin sun-sensitive, so SPF isn’t optional here. Our Beauwell Sunscreen Lotion Spray SPF 50 works well for daytime protection.
Is this only for women?
Not at all. Skin ages the same way for everyone so men benefit too.
Can vitamin C and retinol mix?
Keep them apart. Apply a vitamin C serum in the morning and this serum at night.
When will I actually see results?
Give it four to six weeks of steady use before judging the results.
Is it safe near my eyes?
No, avoid that area completely. Stick close to the orbital bone, not on it. For the eye area, try the Beauwell Eye Care Serum instead.
Which skin types can use this?
Normal, oily, combination, and mature skin it covers most bases well.
What about oily skin specifically?
It actually helps balance oil production while it refines your pores. Read more in our oily skin care routine guide.
Should skin be wet or dry when applying?
Dry always. Damp skin dilutes the formula and slows absorption down.
Does it smell strongly of fragrance?
Not really. It is kept light on purpose to avoid irritating your skin.
How should I store the bottle?
Somewhere cool and dark works best. Sunlight breaks retinol down fast.
How long does it last once opened?
Try to finish it within six months for the best potency.
